About Us:
GreatSea Marine Services was established in 1992 and it has grown steadily with the growth of the marine industry in Singapore. To date, it consists of 7 subsidiary companies under Great Sea Holdings (GSH) offering the full range of marine engineering and specialized services, and, it is a key fabricator supporting Keppel Group and SembCorp Marine in building Jack-Up Rigs and Floating Production Storage Offloading units.
With the strong growth of the marine industry, GSH with group sales turnover of $21 million and employment of over 1,200 is expanding rapidly in all departments. Already $500,000 has been invested in sophisticated CNC Flame Cutting Machine and specialized equipment and this amount is expected to double over the next two years, adding capabilities and capacity to production to achieve sales of $35 million.
Single Buoy Mooring, Inc of USA (SBM) is in discussions with GSH on collaboration to produce Modules for FPSOs. However, the single constraining factor to GSH’s capacity growth and the collaboration with SBM is the availability of waterfront land. As a Promising SME and under the EDB Marine LIUP, GSH is applying for the empty JTC waterfront land (Mk 9819) at Jalan Samulun.
